Our Commitment to the Trades

OUR WHY
At GFJ Construction, we’re solving the skilled labor shortage by embedding on-the-job training into every project. We partner with subcontractors, developers, owners, and end users to build a stronger, more sustainable future for the construction industry.
Tailored Training Programs

Bootcamps
GFJ READY™ is a 2–4 week intensive bootcamp that prepares aspiring tradespeople for success on active construction sites. Designed and delivered by GFJ Construction, the program blends safety training, hands-on instruction, and workforce readiness to give participants the confidence and competence they need to start strong in the trades.

Live Jobsite Training
GFJ WORKSITE™ is a structured 90-day, on-the-job training rotation that embeds aspiring tradespeople directly into active construction sites. Each trainee is vetted, insured, and supervised while working alongside our partner subcontractors on real projects — gaining experience, confidence, and exposure to multiple trades. This model bridges the gap between classroom learning and field application. Trainees learn core skills such as safety, demolition, material handling, and finishing while contributing real labor value to your project.

Labor Support Program
Subcontractors can become 'preferred trade partners' who commit to training or mentoring GFJ trainees on real jobsites. In return you receive preferred pricing and priority access to our talent pipeline when you need reliable, entry-level field support. GFJ scales your crew capacity with trainees who have actually stepped foot on real jobsites.
